A small garden with unpleasant views. In the end, we dealt with it. We designed the space in a way, that would provide enough privacy for the owners in their garden. A generous terrace, raised beds for growing vegetables, fruit trees and wooden features for the children all fit beautifully in the garden. With the help of greenery and a wooden fence, we hid unwanted views so that the family could fully enjoy their new garden.

Landscaping and architectural design of orchard areas in the area of the paper mills in Štětí

A garden project with significant added value, already grown trees. The design was based mainly on the location of these solitary trees. Under the old walnut tree we created a pleasant sitting area in the shade with a fireplace, while a sunnier terrace surrounded by perennials was placed directly next to the house.

A small garden near a terraced house with several special features. The owners’ wish was to place a wood storage shed, a wood chopping area or a tactile path for bare feet in the garden. At the same time, the house is located in a dense development, so there was a need to create as much privacy as possible.

In this design we have imaginatively divided the extensive land around the houses into two units. We conceived the back area behind the barn in a natural style, with a swimming pond, a sitting area with a fireplace and an orchard. In contrast, the garden enclosed between the houses was designed more formally, with various flowering plant species.

The design of the garden located on a slope was created in the spirit of nature. Near the house there is a lawn for children and relaxation, further in the garden there is only a flowery meadow and perennial beds. The garden includes a stream, which serves not only as a diversion and cooling in the garden, but also has its important function in draining excess rainwater from the upper plot.

The design of the family garden of a simple rectangular shape was created with the owners’ wishes in mind. We therefore placed a swimming pool, a generous terrace, a lawn and a fireplace with a seating area in the garden. With children in mind, a swing made of solid wood is designed in a corner, and everywhere in the garden, utilitarian shrubs or fruit trees are used.

The garden included a large pile of soil, which was created during the excavation of the foundations of the house. In the design we dealt with this by creating an artificial hill at the end of the garden. It houses a small hobbit house for garden tools and it also has a children’s slide leading out of it. The hill is densely planted, so it fits in beautifully with the garden and also serves as a visual barrier.

The design of the garden with a playground in Černošice was mainly adapted for the children. It includes a large grassy area with football goals, a playground with a trampoline and a swing. It also accommodates several perennial beds, utility plants and a seating area with a fireplace.

The design of the garden, and especially the individual plant species, was based on an important brief, namely that the garden is in a very windy location. There are, with few exceptions, no houses in the vicinity and therefore it is in a very open area. We adapted the plant range to these conditions and created individual green barriers so that the garden would not be such a windy place anymore.
